The Wenatchee World is a locally owned family news organization that has been owned by the Woods family since the early 1900s. We are passionate about serving our community and reporting on issues that are of most importance to our local audience.  We are dedicated to facilitating important discussions through out North Central Washington (NCW).  Our corporate motto is: “Engage. Inform. Inspire.”… We believe in community engagement, and working on activities that lead to community success.
The World remains one of the last family-owned information companies in the region providing a five-day-a week newspaper serving Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan and Grant Counties. We are dedicated to providing local coverage of issues important to the residents and local businesses of NCW.
We also print a monthly business publication, Wenatchee Valley Business World, launched October, 2010, which is distributed to all businesses in the valley and a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine entitled Foothills, all about the joy of living in NCW.
