A Wenatchee landmark, Saddlerock with its weathered rock towers and surrounding wild lands is both wonderfully scenic and ridiculously close to town. A high percentage of Wenatchee residents can easily walk or ride a bike to the trail heads. 2 to 3.5 miles round trip.
Saddlerock is the ideal overlook trail for Wenatchee. Winding up to a summit dotted with craggy, pointed rocks, the trail follows an old road most of the way to the top.
Main Trail length is 1.3 miles from trailhead to the top of Saddle Rock with an elevation gain of 950 ft. Be prepared for some sweeping views of the city. East Trail length is 1.75 miles from trailhead to the top of Saddle Rock with an elevation gain of 1,228 ft. This alternative route to the top takes you under the face of Saddle Rock before it approaches the summit from the north. This trail makes a great loop with the main trail.
