Have you ever wondered how a winery comes up with a wine blend? How does a winemaker decide which vineyards or barrels or what varietals go into that blend? How would you blend your own wine? Well here’s your chance to be a winemaker for a day with Jones of Washington!
Join us for a wine of kind of experience surrounding 4 major Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Carménère. Attendees will get to taste barrel samples of these 4 important varietals as well as learn a bit more about our award winning vineyards and what makes these grapes so special, especially here in Washington, from our head winemaker Victor Palencia.
Plus, you will also have the fun opportunity to create your own blend with the guidance of our winemaker. Attendees will be broken up into small groups and compete against other groups to see which blend scores the highest based upon scores given by our winemaker. We provide the wine, expert knowledge and supplies for you to taste, mix and create your own unique blend. This experience will sell out fast, so get your ticket now!
