Chateau Faire le Pont Chateau Faire Le Pointe is the only winery in Wenatchee to offer a full-service restaurant. Come in for an appetizer, a steak, seafood or one of their other gourmet entrees. All ingredients are fresh, local and sustainably grown or caught. Chateau Faire le Pont’s restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner is served 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Appetizers and wine tasting is available seven days a week.
Jones of WashingtonAlthough the Jones of Washington tasting room in Pybus Market doesn’t make its own food, all the restaurants and several of the stalls in Pybus are happy to deliver. The Pybus Cheese Shop next door has cheese plates that pair perfectly with many of Jones’ wines. Jones’ Pybus Tasting Room is open 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Malaga Springs WineryMalaga Springs Winery is a hidden gem, located in Malaga up against the cliffs. This winery is a labor of love, where every last detail has been looked after. The more you look around, the more you’ll see where the owners gave every last detail its due. Enjoy a bread or meat plate with one of their many varietals. Malaga Springs is open 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Martin Scott WineryMartin Scott Winery outside East Wenatchee offers cheese and bread platters and brick oven pizzas on Saturdays, made on-site in their handmade brick oven. Enjoy their amazing views of the Columbia River as you sip wine. Mart Scott is open Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Warm Springs InnWarm Springs Inn is nestled just east of Sunnyslope. Although they don’t generally serve food with their wine tastings, Julie and Ludger Szmania are happy to prepare appetizers if you call 48 hours in advance. Make a plan to bring your friends and enjoy some simple yet delicious food made by the owners, who owned a neighborhood bistro in Seattle for more than two decades. Warm Springs’ tasting room is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., but feel free to call in advance to see if the owners are around on other days for a private visit.Wine Bars
Tastebuds Coffee and WineTastebuds is a favorite food and watering hole for the Wenatchee Valley. Tastebuds has a full menu, including pastas, salads, pizzas and great appetizers that double as a meal if you wish. In addition to local wines, they also serve coffee and cocktails. Stop in on a Wednesday to get 20 percent off bottles of wine to enjoy at the restaurant or to take home. Stop in any day for lunch, happy hour or dinner. Tastebuds is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Norwood Wine BarThis new 21 and over wine bar on Wenatchee Avenue serves complimentary tapas with each drink. Choose one of these three to five freshly made appetizer options, made with local, fresh ingredients as much as possible. Their tapas selection rotates regularly to incorporate in-season fruits and vegetables.Norwood opens Wednesday to Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Sunday they’re open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
