Cideries, wineries and tasting rooms – Oh my! Kick off the fall season by trying out some of the best craft beverage hot spots in Wenatchee.
We’ve curated a boozy guide for when you simply can’t decide on a place to grab a drink, relax or enjoy live music. There’s no better place to enjoy a cozy fall cider than in the number one apple producing state in the U.S.!
Located Within Downtown Wenatchee:
Watermill on the Ave: This tasting room in downtown Wenatchee offers red and white wine flights for $20 as well as cider flights for $15. Enjoy the crisp fall weather on their new outdoor seating area and try their delicious small bites, like the lobster dip or veggie flatbread.
Badger Mountain Brewing: For those that prefer a beer on a crisp fall day, this brewery serves some recipes that are older than the brewery itself! They have24 taps that pour a variety of beer, guest beer and cider. They also make cocktails like the Spiced Apple Mule. Try out trivia on Wednesday nights!
Crayelle Tasting Room: Located in the heart of downtown Wenatchee, this tasting room is the perfect place to relax and get cozy with a nice glass of wine. Try out their popular Salto De Fe 2020, the wineries take on a modern Spanish inspired red blend.
Jones of Washington Winery: The Jones of Washington tasting room in Pybus Public Market is an excellent place to do some sipping, shopping and eating. Grab a slice of pizza at Fire by Visconti while in the market to fuel up after tasting or stop by Balsamroot Boutique for some new threads.
East Wenatchee:
Union Hill Cidery: With a brand-new tasting room nestled at the top ridge of their apple orchards, to try one of their 16 taps featuring many of their ciders, local beer, and root beer. Enjoy live music and good company on select Friday nights in September, October and November.
On October 6th and 7th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Union Hill Cidery will be hosting their 3rd annual Barrel & Keg Fest. Celebrate fall harvest with local wine, hard cider, beer, food trucks and live music. More information can be found on their website.
Martin Scott Winery: Across the street from Union Hill you’ll find one of the first wineries in the Wenatchee Valley. Soak up the beautiful views on their outdoor patio and choose from a tasting flight or refresh your palate with a wine slushy. They also offer live music on most Thursdays and Saturdays.
Snowdrift Cider Company: This cider company creates specialty hard ciders, crafted by hand in small batches from apples that they grow on their orchard in sunny East Wenatchee, WA. The Cinnamon Spiced cider is a festive blend to warm up for fall. Make sure to call ahead if you want to go to a private tasting room mid-week.
