Our local Velocity Swim Team is hosting their annual Starlight Open Swim Meet at the Wenatchee City Pool this weekend. With temperatures hovering in the 100 degree range, the water will probably provide a lot of relief to the participants! A total of 490 swimmers will be on hand, ranging in age from 6-46. There is no admission charge for spectators. Competition begins mid-afternoon Friday, and at 8:00am Saturday & Sunday.
