Vibrant spirit, breathtaking beauty, hometown charm, and entertainment for the whole family – this is the Fourth of July in Wenatchee! The city comes alive with a plethora of events and activities for a quintessentially American holiday celebration.
The festivities take place at Walla Walla Point Park. The park transforms into a hub of excitement, where families can enjoy an array of activities. From games and face painting for kids to food stalls and vendors offering delicious treats, there is something for everyone to indulge in.
Be sure to be in the park for the Cherry Pit Spit Competition, Corn Hole Tournament, and the Pie Eating Contest in the afternoon. You can sign up yourself, or watch friends and family take part in the action.
The Red, White and Brew Garden in the park will feature local beers, ciders, and wines, and the Residence Inn across the street hosts “Yappy Hour” and will have a full bar and bites.
One of the highlights of the day is the live performances by local artists and bands, as well as globally recognized acts. The stage comes alive with electronic pop from The Trampolines, classic rock from The Prefunc, and big band swing from The Wenatchee Big Band.
Of course, no Fourth of July celebration would be complete without a breathtaking fireworks display, and Wenatchee certainly delivers on this front. About an hour after sunset, the night sky becomes a canvas for an awe-inspiring pyrotechnic extravaganza. The Wenatchee Big Band plays in concurrence with the fireworks show, creating a truly magical experience.
