You don’t have to go far to cheer under Friday night lights! Root, root, root for the home team at the 4,300-seat Town Toyota Center. The arena is home to both the Wenatchee Wild Hockey team and the Wenatchee Bighorns basketball team, which is debuting its first season in 2023.
The Wenatchee Wild is a junior A ice hockey team in the British Columbia Hockey League. Young athletes aged 17-20 are recruited from across the country and locally, to compete against teams all over British Columbia from September through March.
On home weekends, the Wild have themed promo nights, including battle of the bands, ladies' night and sportsman night. Make sure to wear green for the St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17th!
Pick up a Wenatchee Wild cup from concessions to show your support, along with a bucket of popcorn or a hot dog. Most games start at 6pm or 7:05pm. See the full Wild schedule here and promo schedule here to plan your attendance to a hockey match!
In March, The Wenatchee Bighorns begin their first ever season on the court. The professional basketball team aims to bring the community together through kid's camps, local events, promoting local business and of course, bringing high-quality, affordable entertainment through the great game of hoops.
The Bighorns have joined “The Basketball League”, a minor league organization with more than 44 teams. They will play in the West Conference, taking on teams such as the Seattle Superhawks, the Bakersfield Majestics, and the Salem Capitals to name a few.
The season starts March 2nd and goes through May 28th. Home games that are scheduled from Monday through Saturday will begin at 7:05pm and Sunday games will begin at 3pm. Check out the full Bighorns basketball schedule and buy tickets here.
