Wenatchee is brimming with holiday magic this winter, and there are so many ways to join in the fun! From festive markets to cozy snow globe experiences, there’s something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate the season in Wenatchee.
Holiday Open House & Wine Walk:
On November 16, the Wenatchee Downtown Association hosts its annual Holiday Open House & Wine Walk. Don’t miss out on this perfect blend of holiday shopping and wine tasting in your favorite downtown shops! With a ticket, you’ll receive 12 tasting tickets and a commemorative wine glass, allowing you to sample a variety of wines from tasting room and pop-up experiences in downtown stores.
Holiday Festivities at Pybus Market:
Kick off the holiday season at Pybus Market’s Holiday Market, running from November 22–24. Open from 8 AM to 3 PM, this market is a treasure trove of handmade goods, unique crafts, and delicious treats. It's the perfect chance to support local artisans and find special holiday gifts!
Keep the festive spirit going with more holiday magic at Pybus Market! On November 30, join Pybus Market for their Holiday Extravaganza, featuring the annual Pybus Christmas Tree Lighting at 5 PM, a special appearance by Santa, cookie decorating for charity, a hot cocoa bar from Café Columbia, photo booths, and interactive games. Guests can pick up a Christmas wish list at The Taproom and bring wrapped gifts for Orchard Middle School students and receive a free cookie-decorating kit. It’s a day packed with holiday cheer!
Experience a stunning display of holiday decorations at the Numerica Performing Arts Center’s Festival of Trees from November 21-24. This annual tradition allows the public to view and bid on beautifully adorned trees and wreaths throughout a week of events. The festivities kick off with the Festival of Spirits, where six of the area's top restaurants and bars will battle it out for the title, and YOU get to decide the winner! Guests can also enjoy appetizers from the Wenatchee Convention Center, live music, and a preview of the Grand Trees, Mini Trees, and Wreaths up for bid. The festival continues throughout the weekend with the Swanky Soiree, Live Auction, and more. It’s the perfect way to start the holiday season in style!
Nothing says “holiday spirit” like cookies! On the first Saturday of December, from 10 AM to 3 PM, enjoy Wenatchee’s Downtown Cookie Stroll. Start at La Vie En Coffee Bar & Bakery, where you’ll receive a map and set off to collect delicious, pre-packaged cookies from 13 downtown stops. Each cookie is unique and full of holiday cheer. And don’t forget to grab a treat for your pet at Firehouse Pet Shop!
Snow Globes at Circle 5 Winery:
For a truly magical experience, reserve a cozy snow globe at Circle 5 Winery, where up to eight guests can enjoy a private winter wonderland. Surrounded by snow and warmth, you can sip on your favorite wine, snuggle up under blankets, and soak in the picturesque view of the Wenatchee Valley. This enchanting setup is ideal for friends, family, or couples looking to embrace the holiday spirit in a unique, intimate setting.
