Twill Denim Lounge; 6 Fall Denim Trends to Fit Your Lifestyle
“Every woman deserves to find the perfect pair of jeans”. – Twill
Denim is a lifestyle, a statement, a loyal friend, and a wardrobe staple. Denim is as American as apple pie, and we cannot live without it. (Well, at least some of us can’t). Anything goes these days it seems in fashion, and the same goes for your jeans. A good pair of jeans can last many years and take on different statements based on what attitude you’re conveying. Denim must also fit your lifestyle, budget, and your booty well!
TWILL Denim Lounge is a denim destination spot located in downtown Wenatchee. Thinking out-of-the-box and simplifying the buying process, TWILL makes it as straight forward and easy as possible by having denim and only denim. When it comes to the latest denim trends, TWILL has you covered with a variety different brands, washes, fits, leg shapes, price points, petites and plus size jeans. AND a few tops too! You’ll find up to 10 different denim brands represented with price points starting at $70 up to premium prices of $175 (or more) and everything in between.
CHECK OUT TWILL’S NEWEST FALL DENIM STYLES BELOW AND HOW IT MAY FIT YOUR LIFESTYLE.
1. SKINNY REIGNS SUPREME
TWILL’S number one selling denim is the Skinny jean. Must be because of it’s shapely fit and legging-like comfort, the Skinny jean is versatile with many types of tops, especially with this seasons oversized and deconstructed sweaters, blazers, and tops this season. Flip flops in the Summer and knee high boots in the Winter, the Skinny jean is everyone’s favorite go-to denim year round.
2. CLEAN, DARK, AND SOPHISTICATED FOR CASUAL FRIDAY
Dark, clean wash denim works great for Casual Friday in the office when you pair it with a pretty blouse, and/or blazer and chic shoes. Really any leg shape will work depending on what’s best for your shape and preference, but a dark wash will look dressier rather than a faded wash. If your office setting is a bit more formal but tolerable of denim, make sure it’s a trouser cut, which has a wider leg shape around the ankle and takes on a dress pant look. (As you can see from the model wearing James Jeans trouser cut above left). The straight leg style to the above right is Raw Denim. A classic untreated denim fabric that starts out a bit rigid but softens and conforms to your body over time. It takes work but worth it as these will become your favorite long-living jeans. Break out your cutest heels to dress it up for the evening!
3. MIX IT UP WITH COLOR
Fits like a jean, looks like a jean, and is just as comfortable as a jean, colored twill is the new “it” pant this season. Try something different from always wearing denim. You can work colored twill into all aspects of your lifestyle, from running errands, watching your kids sports games, to work attire, colored twill is comfortable, super chic and on trend. Dress down with sneakers and a sweater or dress up with heels and a blouse or blazer. Voila’! Spot on chic.
4. RUGGED AND DISTRESSED IN A GOOD WAY
Holes, rips, unfinished hems and washed denim remain on trend but with a few new twists. Introducing the STEP HEM, an unfinished and uneven hem on a skinny jean that gives this style a fashion edge. Basically it looks like you did your own hack job! Distressed denim is like your old worn out friend. Do you have one? I do. And I love them just the way they are. Soccer moms and fashionistas go-to jean.
5. DENIM JOGGERS!
How cute are these James Jeans Boyfriend Cargo Joggers. Modeled after the “jogger” athletic pant, this popular style is so fresh in dark wash denim, cargo pockets and cuffed at the ankle. The boxed rise is supposed to fit a bit slouchy in front to mimic your favorite sweats. If I could choose my new FALL denim jean it would definitely be this one! Again, on trend with sneakers or heals, dressed down or up.
6.) CLASSIC DENIM JACKET GETS AN UPDATED MAKEOVER
Oversized and cropped brings the classic denim jacket to modern style. Worn over a fitted ensemble or hot dress, this jacket definitely makes a bold and edgier fashion statement. However, if this style is a bit to trendy for you, be assured that your classic denim jacket is still an on-trend staple. (DL1961 Zoe Oversized Jacket above now available at TWILL).
DENIM FOR A DIFFERENCE
TWILL came from a desire to create a place where women could feel confident, empowered and cared for: a space where they could relax, unwind and connect with other women doing the same. However, it has turned into so much more. We are honored to introduce TWILL’s latest initiative: Denim for a Difference.
We are proud to partner with the Women’s Resource Center of North Central Washington to assist in the fight against poverty and homelessness of women, children and men throughout our community. Ten percent of all Sunday sales at TWILL are donated to the Women’s Resource Center, and it’s our goal to increase this rate annually. There are several ways you can participate:
