Make a splash! City and county pools combine with facilities at the high school, the YMCA and the Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club to offer a broad selection of recreational and competition pools, as well as numerous swimming lesson programs. The Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club, is a non-profit, members-owned recreational facility in operation since 1961. The club offers the valley’s only full service facility with a multitude programs for all ages and skills on over 8 acres of facilities, including 9 outdoor and 4 indoor tennis courts, 3 racquetball courts, 1 squash court, an outdoor swimming pool, cycle and yoga studios, basketball court and weight room. The club is truly a place for the whole family to spend time together as part of their fit and healthy lifestyle.
The Eastmont YMCA Aquatic Center (EYAC) is a public facility owned by Eastmont Metropoloitan Parks District (EMPD), operated by the Wenatchee Valley YMCA and available to the general public. All Eastmont YMCA Aquatic Center programs are available to non-members either through a class fee or an admission fee.
The City of Wenatchee’s outdoor swimming pool is open each year from mid-June through August. The 10-lane, 50-meter L-shaped pool includes one three-meter and two one-meter diving boards. The pool offers daily public swims, family swims, swim lessons, diving classes and private rental times. During the summer months, the pool is home to the Barracuda Swim Team. With a wading pool, large deck, and picnic area, this facility is suitable for regional swim meets, private parties or simply lounging in the sun.
The Wenatchee Valley YMCA Aquatic Center full-service facility on the corner of Chelan and Orondo; offers cardiovascular, Nautilus, Cybex and free weight fitness areas, a swimming pool, locker rooms, a gym, climbing wall and three racquetball courts. The facility also features a babysitting area and a youth and teen center with a computer lab, fitness arcade and learning enrichment lab.
